Frequently Asked Questions

Who can I refer?

You can refer any individual or business that is not an existing certification holder or client. We do not place territorial limits on affiliates.

Do I need to be a CPI certification holder?

We would love it if you had one of our certifications, but you are not required to have one to be a part of the program.

Does it cost anything to become an affiliate?

Signing up and participating as an affiliate is completely free. There are no minimum sales required to earn commissions.

What promotion methods are accepted?

We welcome a variety of promotion methods to offer you the flexibility to select the approach that best suits you. Most of our affiliate partners promote their affiliate links via blogging, SEO, PPC (pay-per-click) advertising, email marketing, YouTube, podcasting, and more.

Can I still be an affiliate if I don't have a blog or website?

Yes. You can still share your affiliate link via email or on social media sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, X etc. You can also share it in online forums, groups, and communities.

How can I improve my referrals?

You can access our affiliate marketing resources to enhance your knowledge about CPI and its products.

You can use your unique referral link on your site's home page, navigation bar, and any other high-traffic areas. Other places where you can place your affiliate links are in your blogs, social media, emails, email signature, or any other relevant promotional material that you create so that once the customer registers using the referral link, you can get the benefit.

Remember to sell in context and offer meaningful content in the form of original blogs, reviews, ratings, product comparisons, review videos, or any other type of quality content that works for your audience.

Provide value to others by answering related questions on forums and review sites with helpful responses, and using your referral link in your replies. Please respect the posting rules of any third-party websites.

Make it easy for your readers to sign up using your links to guarantee their wallet credits and your commission.

How much will I get paid?

You will earn 10% of each purchase your referees make for your first $5,000 in sales. After that, you will earn 20% of every sale each customer makes within 12 months of their first purchase. There are no minimum sales required or caps on commissions.

How will I get paid?

Commissions will be issued through your account via direct deposit or PayPal. There is a 2% processing fee to use your PayPal account with a capped fee of $20. The processing fees will not be covered by CPI.

How do you track sales?

Our custom tracking is hard-coded into our website, so you always get credit. We have several ways of tracking sales. The primary way is a cookie drop from your affiliate link. This stays on your customer's browser for 180 days so you can get the sale credited even if they don't commit right away (unless the customer clears their cache & cookies before then).

My referral forgot to use my link - can you track it back to my account?

We're unable to track referrals back to your account. You are expected to ensure that the referral signs up using your unique link and that you use your affiliate links in all your promotions.

I need to manage a customer account - can I get their login details?

No. The customer can reach out to our dedicated support team for any assistance.

How do I track my sales?

You can log in to your affiliate dashboard at any time for information about referrals in progress and any commissions you have earned.

Do you use a third-party affiliate platform?

Nearly all of our affiliates are happy to use our platform; however, we are also happy for you to partner with us on third-party affiliate platforms like Impact, CJ, or Rakuten for a reduced commission rate.

What is the FTC affiliate disclosure?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires affiliate marketers to disclose that they are getting paid to promote the product. This is to keep transparency and honesty in advertising, and to keep consumers informed. To learn about FTC disclosure requirements, please check out the FTC's Dot Com Disclosures Guidelines and the Endorsement Guidelines.

Some examples of FTC disclosure statements that you may use are:

  • If you make a purchase through this link, we may receive a commission.
  • We may earn a referral fee for some of the services we recommend on this post/website.
  • We may receive a commission if you click on some of the links on this website and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.

Where can I find all the program details?

You can find all things related to being a CPI affiliate in our Affiliate Program Agreement.
